Add me to the list. My father's Reserve unit in Baton Rouge was called up to open the fort, and he was Post Engineer that first year. The family moved there with my father. I was a sixth grader in West Leesville Elementary and got in more fights that year than in the whole rest of my life combined. Finally the 49th Armored Division from Texas came over, and that brought a lot more Army kids to the school and kind of took the pressure off me.
