I am not even sure my grandkids have heard of the "Civil War" in school. They don't appear to know anything about it at all. It can also be said they know nothing of the War of 1812 and the part Mississippi played even though the last sea battle was fought rioght here in Bay St. Louis. They do mention WWII at times, mostly because of pictures of my dad in his uniform.
