Unless I have misread it, it would seem that the awarding of the CMOH has evolved over the years and that many awards were later revoked, such as AL's bodyguard. I understand that a few WBTS nurses were given it too, and most--except one perhaps--were revoked. I think that the honor is more carefully bestowed these days and hopefully it will never come to the point where they are given out in boxes of Crackerjacks, like Nobel Peace Prizes for example.
