Actual spelling: Eltham's Landing. Near West Point, Virginia where the Pamunkey and Mattaponi Rivers converge to become the York River.

Fascinating reading David. I have really enjoyed your daily posts. It's so interesting to read the written word in a time when news travelled at the pace of those that carried it. Compared to today where it travels as fast as light. Keep up the great work.
