Joe, I've looked back over the posts. You accused me and my fellow swamp-dwellers of being, as Jamie so perceptively noted, inbred, degenerate, murdering rapists. I responded by accusing you of Abolitionist-like behavior.
Upon thinking it over, I have to agree that my response was out of proportion to your offense. Therefore, I apologize for the implication that you might harbor abolitionist sentiments, or be in any way the moral equivalent of an abolitionist. An examination of your past posts shows that any such accusation can not stand scrutiny.
However, on the matter of catching large alligators, you and I must continue to walk different paths (or wade different bayous, as the case may be). But please, for your peace of mind, rest assured that by the time an alligator reaches twelve feet or greater, his genes have been well spread over the area and are in no danger of dying out.
