I'm still trying to divide the areas of news but it's getting harder. The reports of Indian attacks really are interesting. No where have I seen any mention of why they were on the 'war path'. Hmmm, guess they still had not figured it out. This far from it, we know the frustration they felt and also they understood very well that their way of life was threatened. From their point of view, I can't fault them for their actions.

Maybe the Southern states sort of had that same feeling. Their way of life was under attack way before any shot was fired. The reports of the abolishionist activity are not few and far between. It looks like it was ramping up. Not that I really have anything to compare it to. The story of Sina is touching.

Some things haven't changed in 150 years, like hurricanes. They still show up when they're not invited.
