It sounds like it may be the same place or at least the place where the Carlyle Schools began. They rounded up a lot of Native American boys and said they were going to a better place and get an education so they could help their people. What they did was pretty much try to erase anything from their Native culture. Gave them many lessons in 'Christian' values and such.

They were using these young men as late as WWI for PR. They'd dress them up in "Tribal" costumes that probably were as alien to their real tribe as a suit and tie. I have been trying to find info on one of them. Seems he was engaged to my GAunt and he did enlist in the military and was killed in the Argonne Forrest. I have photo's of him and some beautiful beaded things that had to be part of the costume.
