Why do I think there's going to be some very interesting info coming down the pike? The articles you've posted in the last couple of weeks are somewhat like 'fresh' news. There are slants and tid bits that need more looking in to. I'm getting the feeling there's a whole lot more to the story and it's bigger than War and Peace (and I thought that was a long one when it was required reading in school). I don't think they're required to read anything in school now. Especially the classics. Most of the students wouldn't understand the language. "Yo" is a word I don't remember showing up in my lessons except in the Volga Boatmen Song.

There were a number of conflicts overseas to keep the major player nations busy supplying sending more men and a whole lot of supplies. The Ottoman Empire was in it's last glory days and Syria was doing as it has always done and always will do. Could the mass investment in those endevours be more of a reason for them to 'wait and see' on our little delima? I mean, yes, they drug their heels on even token support but with all they were dealing with, it's easy to see why. It even takes some of the 'sting' out of the refusal to recognize the Confederacy as an entity no longer connected by government to the Northen states.

Maybe trying to keep a seperate file on the Brown story, the other reports of problems can help bring some sort of order and give us a bigger picture of what we may have believed was a smaller size photo.

You are doing an excellent job David. Seems you hit gold every time. Now we need to decide the best way to use it.
