We just had some MAJOR solar activity occur. After several years of dimished action. The Farmer's Almanac predicted last winter would be colder and wetter than normal on the east coast due to the limited solar activity. They hit it dead on. They have already predicted this year's winter to be milder due to the opposite. Solar activity generally runs in 10 to 20 year cycles. And The Aurora was visible in areas that don't normally see it just a few months back. Pam, the earth does wobble on it's axis randomnly from time to time. Earthquakes can cause this. I've read that scientists believe that the sheer weight of the water held back by Three Gorges Dam in China has actually affected the earth's wobble. You can form your own conclusions, but I have read several articles about this. The sun is a living being. It has a major affect on the earth's climate and weather. More than Al Gore would lead you to believe.
