So much for good manners in those days. I guess they spent so much time trying to dis each other they didn't notice that Lincoln had slipped in to DC. This last election, we had one candidate who was too well mannered and that I'm afraid cost him a lot of votes.

This is a real good lesson in why paying attention is important.
