The details in these woodcuts show some interesting things not seen in the photographs of the same area. One, the battery image shows the guns aimed at Fort Pickens over the tops of trees. There is only one area this could be and that would be the bluffs near the lighthouse. The image with the lighthouse shows a battery up on the bluffs without trees in front, so, the battery image must be of a battery to the east of the lighthouse, where today trees are below the bluffs. Do you know what the buildings are to the left or behind of the lighthouse? Didn't you mention there was a brick factory in that area? To think I was camping all around where this tents are shown.
