Well, there was no major slave insurrection, but the secession of the Southern States could not prevent the Union army from torching Southern cities. As the saying goes, freedom is not free. None of the newspaper articles to date seem to connect the problems in Texas to any strategy or organized conspiracy. I posted my theory a few weeks ago. Was there a disproportionate number of suspected incenidary fires in Texas? Was there a disproportionate number of suspected terrorists? If so, why?
