Re: Everything was about slavery...

Seems to me that is the direction we are currently heading. I seem to recall in the secession papers, the lack of protection by the Federal government from Indians and bandits, isn't the same thing happening on ourborder today? Taxes and bailouts were mentioned in 1860 and now agian in 2010. Abuse of the constitution and states wanting to follow more closely the constitution, still a issue today. As I mention earlier "racism' is a bussword today, might not be true, but it is the only card some know how to play, in 1860 it was slavery, could that also been the only card that would stir the emotions of certain parties???? Last but not least the issue of an overbearing government. All issues in 1860 as well as 2010, then it lead to secession today it is again dividing the country. Where will it end?????
