James, wanna hear something that is going on with the Confederate Medal of Honor winners currently? I was recently told that the SCV is now "granting" a medal to any man carried on the Confederate Roll of Honor. Of course, the descendent must pay for this medal and the SCV will only grant it if it is agreed that is placed in an SCV approved public location. I'm unsure what their "approval" requires. Anyway, I told them that I won't be asking for one for great-grandpa Richard Chaddick. I won't say anything else lest I lose my reputation for being such a sweetheart LOL!!!
