They did not need recognition from anyone, it would not have stopped Lincoln’s invasion. Besides France and England both were friendly to the Confederacy.

The book does not give hard numbers, it only gives the official position. I recall an official position that said no combat troops were in Viet Nam or Cambodia. You cannot dispute the fact that an unknown number of blacks fought for the South. The next best thing for you to do is to try and dismiss me as if I am ignorant of the situation by simply not seeing your point.
The number could be anywhere from one to a million, at this time I have no found a source that can give hard figure although I have read sources that put the number at about 65,000.

You are most welcome. But just to satisfy you sarcastic behind I said in the beginning and history proves that. In the end taking in all factors the south was lacking men and material to win. I say take away the mercenaries and immigrants and it would have been a different story. Got it???
BTW when do you intend to post document proving the South was only fighting to maintain slavery???
