Don't know what source you are using for bean prices, Doesn't matter since I agree with your point. I will tell you this, at our local farmers market, I was quoted a price of $40.00 a bushel for speckled butter beans unshelled, shelled went at $8.00 per sandwich bag. Cotton who needs it???
