"About 20 years ago hubby was making a delivery to a house being built out in the country and he saw some cotton and he stopped and picked a boll and brought it home for me. It was that rare a sight back then." LOL Pam, my wife went to Carson Newman College in Kingsport, Tennessee (For some reason I love to write Tennessee and Mississippi.). She had a Yankee room mate she brought home one break period. Cump can tell you there is not much flat land around Kingsport for growing cotton. When Georgianne and her friend got far enough into Georgia to see some cotton, her friend was so excited thaey had to stop so she could pick a boll for a keepsake.
