So they could really send a free person of color into an indentured type of situation? I don't remember seeing this before.
Seems like ol Florida was becoming a rather hotbed of troubles. Hmmmm, nothing new there come to think of it. I wonder though, if my line from around Lake City were getting news and things like this if it may have caused them to jump into the Army real early on? Some from my end of the state were a bit sluggish. Well, they were that way about everything to be honest.
