Oh yeah, and that other inconvenient part, the part where they surrendered their "personal rights" to the central government in Richmond, the part where they gave up their "states rights" to Richmond, and the part where they gave up their "property rights" to Richmond, all except slaves which (the slaveowning congressmen exempted from any draft, protecting their own interests, instead of their country's, just like the corporations do today, while the Tea Party bows to big oil, big internationals, Wall Street, even big eggs!).
