Elsewhere someone mentioned that I stood in opposition to Ed Bearss. I beg to disagree. Ed Bearss is a Civil War historian if there ever was one.

Nearly every site that certain parties reference begin with the unsourced comment by EB mentioned in my earlier post. So his actual opinion on this topic is worth examining.
