I believe you have made a wrong assertion.

If I say, this is my first child born in Baton Rouge, does that suggest that I have a number of additional children or children born in other places? No, it simply tells you this is my first child born in Baton Rouge and says nothing about additional children, you would have to ask additional questions to determine how many children I have. This Black Confederate Myth is, unfortunately, full of these kinds of "leaps of faith", like the Rockbridge Artillery story where freedmen laborers are identified from some great distance, as Confederate artillerists.
