I'm trying very hard to break the habit of sayin "Well,". Seems like most of my family always answered a question with that word at the beginning. So, I have learned a lot more from the Agricultural Census than the Regular on some of my lines. They had a lot more butter on hand than I do and I have the 'fridge'. I have also found that while some census transcriptions are listed in alphabetical order, the Ag Census may not be. Found an entire nest of relatives with the Ag Census.
Yes, on the Generals but sort of. The relationship prewar of some Southern Generals and Northern Generals due to their background as fellow Cadets is another one of the sad parts of the war. I can see how the Northern Gen's were a bit puzzled and I can also see why the Southern Gen's felt home came first. Over the years I have read many bio's.
