Just remembered something. When the Union troops camped out in the Milton, Bagdad area, some 'moved' into one of the older, larger, more affluent homes. While there, they used charcoal from the fireplace to write some graffitti on the walls. It remains today. The owners have always just decorated around it because it's quite a conversation piece and they did not wish to disturb it.
