Did anyone watch the PBS American Experience episode on Robert E. Lee? Pam, I'm kind of hi-jacking your thread since it is related. Who are these so-called experts. I noticed Gary Gallagher was included, but the majority of the "experts" were either not Civil War historians or they were more controversial authors like, Michael Fellman who wrote "The Making of Robert E. Lee", which most Civil War historians view as ideologically-based historical fiction or a "hit piece". When I saw Michael Fellman at the beginning of the show, I immediately turned it off.

Did anyone watch and if so, what did you think of it?

As long as PBS continues to promote such a liberal/progressive, humanistic bias, I won't give them a dime. Why should I give money to a network that attacks everything I hold dear?
