Speaking of the script not changing and we not caring. There was two of John's movie that used almost the same storeline and script and we didn't care. "Rio Bravo" and "EL Dorado". John Wayne was John Wayne and you went to see a John Wayne movie because it was a John Wayne movie. You knew the product that you were going to get.

For example the latest version of "The Alamo" is probably the most historically accurate, But I still like John Wayne's "Alamo" and even Disney's "Alamo" with Fess Parker. They each have their place.
