The weapons, both personal such as rifles, and the cannon/mortar are way over my head. I do however, see how the large Rodman on the top of Ft Pickens could be effective aimed at Ft McRee. The smaller Rodman at Barrancas looks pretty intimidating to me too. For most of my life, I've seen them and really didn't know the Rodman from a cousins potato cannon but one of our clues for the Fiesta of Five Flags treasure hunt had us locate the large Rodman. Funny how things stay with you when you've had to dig through old records to find information. Before that, a cannon was a cannon, at least to me.
