I would contend that being a "southern national" qualifies as well as any other ethinic grouping and as such are entitled to the same protections under the law as any other ethinic group such as the Jews and Muslims, African Americans, or Native Americans. We were a defeated race, the same as all the other repressed groups.

What really interested me with this guy who lost his job, and disturbed me none the less, was that while having a bumper sticker on his vehicle that read "Hertiage-Not hate", which is a Sons of Conveterans Veterns style slogan, he claimed that he was flying the flag to celebrate his heritage of being a "REDNECK".

Now, I wonder what would have happened if he had said that he was flying that flag as a form of political speech protesting the way the government was being run?
