Hmm, that's a thought. The area around Pace/Milton in Santa Rosa County has really grown in the last decade. The farms are still in the north end though. That's where they have the parade. They also have the Farmer's Opr'y. On Saturday evening you can go eat a nice dinner and then there's entertainment. I mean, most times it's real entertainment. From Nashville. Recording artist. Some a bit older than we remember them but they still sing the same songs we like. Marty Stewart is a regular. Some are up and coming singers. What I always thought was 'country' for our area seems to have grown a whole new identity. Not a bad one either. Well, except for that commode the grand was sittin on in the parade. Not sure that was a pretty picture but the tractors, lawn mowers, pick ups towing landscapers trailers are doing ok. I believe they said there were around 4,000 spectators at the last one. Oh, there are also many heritage symbols on display and no one tells them to remove them. Gotta take what we can get while we can get it. Pretty soon, we're gonna be dust.
