Ken, are you going to watch or participate? Big events are most often a headache for participants. And this year won't be a big one at Gettysburg. Anniversary events are the big ones and you can bet that 2013 will be the biggest Gettysburg reenactment that you've ever seen. Lots of sitting around and waiting from a reenactor's point of view. But I'm artillery and we usually have to wait for everybody else anyway. Then they tell us we aren't going on line. We are skipping the 150th Manassas because of politics, HUGE numbers, small fields, and the nightmare of Northern Virginia traffic. And did I mention politics. ;-) Have fun if you go to Gettysburg.
