Of course the only Political correctness I have every seen which kept someone who was qualified to be a member of the SCV from joining the SCV were those who wanted to make the SCV into a KKK organization or advocate the radical open secession of the southern states again. For what it is worth we are supposed to be a patriotic organization under our 501-C-3 tax exempt charter.

Now that doesn't mean that there are not some in the SCV who hold those ideas. But it is something that we are not supportive of and do not openly practised. It is too easy for those types to be used against us and we have a hard enough time as it is to preserve what we can of the southern soldiers honor, Without that kind of distractions.
