That's what they called this weekend's festivities in Richmond. No where near the anniversary date of The Emancipation Proclamation. It's always been like that here. Back when they dedicated that disgusting statue of Lincoln and his son at Tredegar, they claimed 1000+ attendees. When there were only about 90. The protesters, that were not allowed near the ceremony, outnumbered the participants 20 to 1. I'm in the thick of of the hypocrisy. And Jim, I'm not a Tea Party member or an SCV member.
