I didn't attend ANY of the events. I know what they serve at that dinner table. I was working on my gun. She has to look good for the spring campaign. I'm already weeks behind. Ya gotta understand that Richmond is in a constant state of apology. When 70% of the metropolitan population is black, then you gotta know what's on the menu. No truth will ever come from Richmond. Why didn't they leave the Capital in Montgomery? Or at least maybe Atlanta. Wouldn't that have drawn the Federals further South? And then maybe Virginia troops could have harrassed Washington and continued the lead in defense of the South. Instead of Virginia being the whipping boy. And the citizens being the great losers. We fight this heritage/history battle every day up here.
