I'm seeing someone who wasn't in office -yet- when the first dispatches were sent about those forts in Charleston. Now if it were Scott on his own, that would have been a real problem. I'm thinking there were a lot more hands on the trigger than most history books would lead one to believe. It's enough to make one look harder and deeper anyway. Give them a few more years and the lincoln papers will be 'lost' or off line. The koolade servers train left the station and it's making stops at a school near you.
