I hope Vicksburg is going to come out of this recent attack by mother nature intact. It is a beautiful place and I found it fascinating. I could not comprehend how the residents could just take the household furnishings into a cave. They also have some really neat monuments.
Shiloh, very different and very much occupied, if'n ya believe or not, it is.

My dream visit is Gettysburg. I have no clue why I feel I have to see for myself where my GGGrand was captured but I do.
