It is rather strange. I knew we had a few 'suits' against Spain for non payment of goods (hardtack). What a family !!!!!
Also there's a case where Jos E filed for damages and loss of property, such as horses and other items that went to the US Supreme Court and were wins for our family. This was during the time Jackson was here to 'take' the territory from Spain.

Others may have been for rulings on the original grants that were cleared and wins for most of of those who recieved them from Spain. They are in the territorial papers.
