It is amazing how much they do know on their genetics and history when so many others, who ought to know, have no clue or desire to learn. The listing on a government roll isn't always the real truth, it just fits into a catagory preset when 'those in power' decided to compose the rolls. Hubbys ancestor was listed as Creek. He was half white. His mother was Natchez. My ancestors are listed as Creek. They were Cherokee. By the time Jackson got around to going after the Seminole, there were more Creek, Mulattos or Free (by way of running or legal means) Blacks than anything.
