That's an interesting turn of fate for war dogs. I don't know just why they'd change the 'ending' or retirement for them unless the 'powers that be' thought they may have been prone to attack or show aggressive behavior because of some specific behavior training. Now the dogs coming back from the Middle East are adopted, many to the soldier they were with.

I don't know. Granddaddy was in the Navy so I know he didn't have any of them involved in his duty stations. He always had bird dogs til he wasn't able to go bird hunting any more. He did say the breeds who were known for an aggressive trait could never be fully trusted.
