Pam when I went I spent quite a while at the graves of Col. William Harry Bishop, commander of the 7th Mississippi and at the grave of Lt. Henry Clay Shaw, flag bearer of the 33rd Mississippi. Lt. Shaw was killed moments after planting the regt. flag up on the Union breastworks. He is also the ancestor of my cousin Virgil Roberts who sometimes post here. Here is a photo I took of Virgil paying his (our) respects.

I had Roberts kinfolk in the 33rd Mississippi and I hope to post on one of them later tonight. His story is worth hearing.
