I have always intended to read the memoir of Revolutionary War soldier Joseph Plumb Martin but never got around to it tll recently. In fact I just finished it tonight. It is a great read and in my humble opinion should be mandatory reading for everyone from the President on down to anybody entering, or hoping to enter the country. If you've ever read "Company Aytch" by Sam Watkins and enjoyed it you'll love this book.
I had a long review typed out but decided to simply say that if you read it you'll sometimes get the feeling it could have been a WBTS memoir as well. I won't go into the details but I will say this. This is an easy book to find and buy and it can be had very cheaply. You'll be surprised how it may affect your ideas and beliefs concerning the WBTS :-)
In closing I say thank God for men like Joseph Plumb Martin!
