[The concept of the Constitution was never to create "One Nation" but to create a "Union of Nations"]

The "Union of Nations" created the concept of the Constitution, the United States/Colonies already existed and had for many years if not decades priot to it taking effect. The Constitution did not creat the union-- it was to make it more perfect.
