Greek and Romans! I loved their helmets. Watch every movie I could see about them; I loved movies about Troy and the Trojans when I was a kid. I think most Southern boys have that love for the classic warrior deep down in their blood. When I was ten our school went on a field trip to Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine, Fla. EVERY boy in the class was so inspired by that old fort with its cannons and old Spanish architecture we immediately formed into companies and took over. Our imaginations went wild and we fought a completely imaginary battle with a pirate ship coming into the harbor. The teachers had a very hard time getting us back on the bus.
