Thanks, Jamie. It worked like a charm. I noticed in the body of the story that Jeff Davis was referred to as Hon.(orable) Jefferson Davis, President Davis, and Mr. President, when directly addressed. As an addendum to my post about the use of "Mr"; the commanding officer of any Naval Vessel, no matter his actual rank, is always referred to as "Captain". The Captain is saluted at every encounter, regardless of his actual rank. Stan
