Well there ya go---- good point. Not sure many would miss those Boston Baked Beans, we can do that ourselves. But the import tax on Boston Creme Pie would be hefty. I'd pay it too.

I think what bothers me the most is seeing the evidence, of the Revolutionary or Civil war not being on display anymore. Growing up here and often seeing the home or Dorothy Walton and knowing her husband was a 'signer' brought that era a bit 'closer' to some of us. We were also taught the basics in school and for entertainemnt, well we had Johnny Tremain or Swamp Fox. Then later our local connections to the Civil War were so many it was part of our growing experience. Today's kids are not getting this and I think it's what will be the downfall of this country. Everyone is so busy pointing out what is wrong with it, they just do not mention or they've forgotten why it's right or how it got to that point.
