Hey Jim, the annual Camp Moore event should be coming up in November. Maybe we could ease down there and visit with the good folks there or go kill an afternoon at Port Hudson. If you like WWII history be sure and visit the USS Kidd.

Do you know if they are having a night reenactment at Mansfield this year? I was supposed to go to Mansfield Wednesday to help my wife teach a class and was hoping to swing by the battlefield but sadly her aunt passed away today and the funeral (as of this time) is scheduled for that day over in Beaumont.

Anyway, we'll find something to go sneak off and do. As for as Ville Platte last week goes I would have probably been out of pocket anyway. Maybe next time.
