The American Civil War/ War for Southern Independence was the most inevitable War that was ever fought by the American people no matter what the precieved or contrived reason for that war was.

It is also the most inevitable War that we are most likely to repeat. And the underlying reason that it was fought in the first place will be the same reason that another war like it will be fought again. Because we failed to learn the lessons and eliminate that underlying cause. It was the same reason that the thirteen colonies fought a revolution to excape the english rule of King George the III. It was and will be again the conflict about men who desire political power as opposed to those who desire individual freedom.

And we are not talking about the slaves here. The were just the contrived reason for the last War. There will be a new reason for the next. But the political circumstance will be the same.

Free men will not willing give up the means by which to secure their liberty.
