I've never really been all that aware of the different parts of the uniform and items that went with it but after reading how much you've put in to making sure things are accurate for one General sure makes me glad that there are some who do know these things. I mean, 100 years from now someone may not notice if they changed the tablet Lady Liberty is holding to the Quaran. That's just one example of why this stuff is important.
