That's a real good explanation Stan. The reason US History is no longer being taught in our public schools is to keep 'understanding' from the average students knowledge of our history. The high school US History courses for 11th grade now begin with the Civil War. They'd like to skip over that part but it's too good a lead in to the civil rights movement (that is really the lesson deemed important now). The 'lesson' is to promote the idea that people who are not productive and who do not have the advantage of real skill training or university degree have prejudicial reasons and should be awarded food, medical care, flat screen tv's and Iphones just because of that prejudicial taint.

The EP is held to a higher standing than the US Constitution in society now. Why? Most people haven't taken the time to read it and it's shorter than the Bill of Rights. (that's the Bill that seems to be used only if it fits a certain 'groups' agenda, but otherwise discarded).

Not long ago, as in a few months back, I heard a teacher tell a class the EP was the 'standard' used to wipe out prejudice. After I picked my jaw up from the floor, I asked her (after that class) just how that worked? She was clueless. I asked her if she had read the whole thing. The answer---wait for it----"Why NO, why would I want to?" When I told her it wasnt worth the paper it was written on, she walked off.

I'm glad I'm getting old. I do not think I could stand living in the US 50 years from now, ------if the US is still around. Not so sure it will be.
