When the Civil War reenactment craze died out here on the West Coast about 10 years ago, you could find cannons going for about the price I quoted. I not talking full rigged Parrots or Napoleons...I'm talking howitzers, mortars,-- smaller caliber cannons. The man on the show wanted a "black powder cannon" that could shoot a projectile; I still believe he could have found one for the price range I stated that would be 100% better than a oxygen tank cannon shooting bowling balls.
