I have an artillery associate that just did a full scale (57 inch wheels) BRONZE six pounder. Accurate to the nines. Museum quality. I won't say the builder, but he is one of the best. Doesn't make his own wheels like my guy does. The tube cost $25K. Edward, you can turn your musket in any time you like. Some of us will never give up this "job". Who else will will fire salutes at headstone and monument dedications? I'll keep my gun. It's the biggest in the area. And it shoots pretty straight. For a SMOOTHBORE. You don't want to "try" my driveway. ;-)
