I think I've read more on German and Irish. There have been other nations in the mix too. Sometimes we forget there were 'troubles' on other continents and a few were fleeing that stuff.

If one is researching an ancestor from the Germany/Prussia area it can be difficult unless they find the info on the American side of the globe. The records from Bremen were destroyed during the World Wars. I'm lucky I happened to end up with my GGrandfather's naturalization paper and my GGrandmother jotted down the date they sailed from Bremen and the ships name. With her info, I was able to get the ships list with the 2nd class designation and the number in their cabin. My GGGrandmother was with them. I had been told she came later.
